The film and the makers were brutally slammed for their version of Ramayan. Adipurush had Prabhas playing the character of Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon was Maa Sita and Saif Ali Khan played the character of Lankesh/Raavan.
From VFX to dialogues, everything called for a massive backlash. Further, writer Manoj Munstashir’s statements defending Adipurush aggravated people’s anger. Now, days after the release, Manoj Muntashir has extended an unconditional apology.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Manoj Muntashir acknowledged that Prabhas Adipurush harmed individuals’ feelings and that he is incredibly upset about it. He broadened a conciliatory sentiment with collapsed hands and talked about solidarity. He wrote, “I accept that Adipurush has hurt people’s feelings.
