Mahindra KUV100NXT Discontinued In India; Know Why

Mahindra

Mahindra has ceased its six-seater cross-hatchback, the KUV100 NXT. The sources have revealed that the company has put a break over online as well as offline bookings for the KUV100 NXT.

No one will be able to buy a car anymore. From the last two years, the sales figure was not impressive and up to the mark and it also eventually became outdated and its competitor started providing more feature-rich options.

The Mahindra KUV carries on to use that very two engine options, one is the petrol mfalcon G80 and the other is the diesel mFalcon D75. The 1.2 litre three-cylinder petrol engine makes 82bhp and 114Nm, at the same time, the 1.2 litre turbodiesel gives 77bhp and 190Nm.

The transmission provided by the car was a five-speed transmission. The G80 engine is a micro-hybrid with start-stop technology. At the same time, the diesel D75 has driving modes such as Eco and Power.

The most vital alteration regarding design is an entirely new face for NXT. It consists of a vertically stacked design for a complete look. The headlamps had a new design but the front bumper got shifted from a conventional design to a sportier one.

The alloy wheels along with its wheel covers got a new design and at the same time, the tail lamps have become broader and now come with silver inserts. The tall design has a high bonnet.

Inside this all-new KUV, 100 NXT is a standard six-seater but this also comes in a five-seater variant. The complete layout of the cabin hasn’t been altered. You can experience a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the top model.

Mahindra now does not multi-dial design for the air-con system, now, it comes with a minimal button style setup. The four-speaker music system has Bluetooth and USB connectivity as well as steering-mounted controls.
