Pixel Fold may use the same display technology as Samsung Galaxy Fold Z2

The report proposes that the inner display of Google’s Pixel Fold will measure 7.57 inches, and the exterior display will be 5.78 inches. The Elec also states that Google might have chosen an older display rather than use the newer technology incorporated in the Galaxy Z Fold.

Reports suggest that the Pixel Fold will not have the same thin display as the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Fold4, as Google will not be using the polarizer layer. Furthermore, the Pixel Fold will not be compatible with a stylus.

It appears unlikely that the Pixel Fold will be available around the time of Google I/O, as was suggested last month. Nonetheless, Google might give us a preview of the device at I/O or they may choose to unveil the folding Pixel along with the Pixel 8 series in October.
