Kishore, who received great acclaim for his performance in the action-thriller Kantara, expressed his opinion on KGF: Chapter 2, which became the biggest Kannada hit of 2022. He said that it is not his type of cinema, and he would rather watch a small movie than ‘mindless’ cinema. His character as a forest officer in Rishab Shetty’s film was highly praised, while KGF 2 was applauded for its PAN India masala entertainment.

When the actor was asked about KGF: Chapter 2, they replied that they hadn’t seen it because it wasn’t their type of movie. They went on to say that they’d prefer to watch a smaller, less successful film with a more meaningful message than something that was mindless. Kantara was made with a budget of 15 crore and made 400 crore worldwide.

KGF 2 STAR YASH PRAISES KANTARA
Yash interrupted the host at India Today Conclave in 2022 when they referred to Kantara as ‘not my film’. He corrected them and said, “Sir, it (Kantara) is also my film. You said it’s not my film, but it is my film also.” The KGF 2 actor heaped praise on the movie, which earned approximately 1200 Crore at the box office and starred himself and Sanjay Dutt, and was directed by Prashanth Neel.
