He runs an online streaming class on a Youtube channel “Khan GS Research Center” where he provides lessons for government exams. Recently he has been accused of inciting students to protest for the cancellation of the RRB-NTPC examination.

Who Is Khan Sir?

Khan Sir has 9.4 million subscribers on his youtube channel. He has covered several educational topics on youtube like the Israel-Palestine conflict, Covid-19 medicines, agriculture reforms 2020, India-Pakistan war 1971 etc. Apart from this, he has a very huge fan following on the internet.

Why Was Khan Sir Arrested?

The name of a private teacher “Khan Sir” came up with their statement. He was accused of inciting students to protest. Police quickly filed an FIR against him and 5 other teachers of his coaching institute. After the news spread out, Khan Sir went underground.

Over a period of time, protests were held across the state for exam cancellation. An investigating official said that they have arrested four students who were trying to stop and burn the train at Rajendra Nagar Terminus. On 27th January 2022, police took Khan Sir into custody.
