Kawasaki is working on its next-generation naked sports bike Z1100, which will soon replace the Z1000, which could make its global debut in 2026. The bike will be placed in the segment above the brand’s popular Z900 and will be offered as a premium option in India to carry forward the success of the Z900.

Engine & Performance Details

  • The Z1100 will get a 1,099cc inline four-cylinder engine, which is also being used in the already launched Versys 1100 and Ninja 1100 SX.
  • This engine produces 134 bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque.
  • The bike will have a top speed of up to 247 km/h.
  • The Z1100 will be offered in a fairing-less naked design and its kerb weight will be around 220 kg – 18 kg lighter than the Ninja SX.

Design & Styling

  • Although its official picture has not been revealed yet, according to the European approval documents, its wheelbase will be 1440 mm, which is the same as the Ninja 1100 SX.
  • With a lightweight frame and aggressive styling, this bike will be presented as a street-focused machine.

  • The Z1100 is likely to debut at the EICMA show in Italy in November 2025, after which it can be launched in other markets including India.
  • In India, the Ninja 1100 SX is priced at ₹ 13.49 lakh and the Versys 1100 is priced at ₹ 12.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
  • If the Kawasaki Z1100 is priced slightly lower than these, then it can prove to be a big hit in India like the Z900.
