“I Was Perfectly F***able,” Jennifer Lawrence Shared A Humiliating Experience

Not only in Bollywood, but body shaming has been a problem for actresses all over the world. And according to the Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence, it is more common in America.

In an old interview, she shared opened up about an incident when she was humiliated by a film producer because of being overweight. Jennifer revealed that the incident goes back to when she wasn’t a well-established actress.

Apart from this, Jennifer also opened up about a humiliating incident when a producer commented on her fat body. She said, “During this time, a female producer had me do a nude lineup with about five women who were much, much thinner than me.”

“And we all stood side-by-side with only paste-on covering our privates. After that degrading and humiliating lineup, the female producer told me I should use the naked photos of myself as inspiration for my diet.”

Thereafter, Lawrence said that she went to another producer for help, but it also ended up very badly. The actress said, “He responded by telling me he didn’t know why everyone thought I was so fat, he thought I was perfectly ‘f***able.”

At last, the X-men actress added, “I was young and walking that fine line of sticking up for myself without being called difficult, which they did call me, but I believe the word they used was ‘nightmare.”
