IPL’s 16th edition is going to start today. The first match will be played between the 2022 IPL champion Gujarat Titans and the four-time champion Chennai Super Kings. Before the match, CSK was in trouble because Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the captain of the team, was injured and there was doubt about his playing in the first match. MS Dhoni has injured his left knee, according to a media report.

During the practice session, MS Dhoni felt pain in his left knee; that's why he did not take part in CSK’s training on Thursday at Narendra Modi Stadium. The first match against Gujarat is to be played at the world’s largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad. Hardik Pandya is handling the command of the Gujarat Titans. If MS Dhoni does not play, then Ambati Rayudu can take his place in wicketkeeping. But what about the captaincy?
