To keep pace with Snapchat, Facebook Inc. launched a new camera-first messaging app called Threads for Instagram. Like Instagram and Snapchat, Threads also is based on the one thing Millenials live for, photo-sharing.
One major change can be seen this time around though, the company has focused on keeping your company small! *Giggles*
What we mean is, it lets you share your pictures with a small group of people, who might be your close friends or your office colleagues.
Fortunately for the company, the new move knocked 5% off Snapchat Inc. shares soon after.
Other services provided by the app include location sharing, battery status sharing *Weird* and uploading status.
Yeah, as if there is less invasion in privacy already! *Gruntled pffff*
Also, App users will be able to enable the auto status feature which will automatically update their live location and battery status to their friends.
It seems privacy is also taking its last breathe along with integrity! *Slow Claps*
