Paytm app which was widely used by people has been pulled off from the Google Play Store. People can no longer find it on the Play Store as it has been taken off due to the breaching of policies. The reason behind this has been told to be the repeated policy violations.
Paytm was India’s most valuable startup that claim to have over 50 million active users.
The Paytm users were notified about this news by Paytm’s official twitter account that wrote:
Dear Paytm’ers,
Paytm Android app is temporarily unavailable on Google’s Play Store for new downloads or updates. It will be back very soon.
All your money is completely safe, and you can continue to enjoy your Paytm app as normal.

Google said that it had warned the company regarding the serious policy violations to the developers. After no action was taken to bring the app’s policy into compliance this action was taken.
“We have these policies to protect users from potential harm. When an app violates these policies, we notify the developer of the violation and remove the app from Google Play until the developer brings the app into compliance,”
Let’s see when the app returns back.
