Indian Startup SpaceKidz To Send Bhagavad Gita In Space

Humans and even animals have reached space till now, for the first time the holy book of Hindu, Bhagavad Gita, is going to space. SaceKidz India is soon launching its newly developed nanosatellite which will carry not only a copy of Bhagavad Gita but also a thousand names and a pic of PM Modi.

The indigenous nanosatellite is developed under the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat program. It would be the first satellite of SpaceKidz that will go into space and conduct a study on space radiation and magnetosphere. It will also look for a communication network in the space. 

PSLV will carry this nanosatellite which is named after the former ISRO chairman, Satish Dhawan. He was also a Padma Vibhushan recipient and father of fluid dynamics.

Dr. Srimathy Kesan who is the founder of SpaceKidz has expressed his excitement about this new mission. He said, “There is a lot of excitement in the group right now.”

Around 25,000 entries have been received by the SpaceKidz for the mission among which names of students and residents outside India are also included. 

20 More In Space From Sriharikota

The satellite will be launched from the Sriharikota launch center at the end of the month. ISRO will launch few more satellites on the same day where one is a Brazilian satellite, 4 commercial and 20 co-passenger satellites are in the queue. 

Among 4 commercial satellites, one is Satish Dhawan Satellite and three are UNITY sats. Another indigenously developed satellite called Anand will be launched on the same day. Its mission would be to detect pollution levels, forest fires, and other disasters at the earliest level. 

ISRO will go through the satellite’s design and structure and recommend changes before sending the satellites into space. This is the first time when ISRO has opened up the doors for startups in India.
