South African captain Aiden Markram won the toss and decided to bowl at St George’s Park in Gkeberha. When play was stopped due to rain, India had scored 180 runs for seven wickets in 19.3 overs.

After that Team India could not play further. Based on Duckworth-Lewis rule, South Africa got the target of 152 runs in 15 overs. They won the match by scoring 154 runs in 13.5 overs. With this he achieved an unassailable 1-0 lead in the series. The third and final match will be played in Johannesburg on 14 December.

Captain Aiden Markram contributed a quick 30 runs in 17 balls, while David Miller, Matthew Britzke, Tristan Stubbs, and Andile Phehlukwayo made valuable contributions with scores of 17, 16, 14 not out, and 10 not out, respectively. Heinrich Klaasen added seven runs to the total. Mukesh Kumar took two wickets for India, while Mohammad Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav each claimed one success.

Rinku’s half century went in vain

IND vs SA: Despite Rinku Singh’s great batting, India couldn’t win. Rinku scored 68 runs in 39 balls, and Captain Suryakumar Yadav added 56 runs. Tilak Verma scored 29, and Ravindra Jadeja got 19 runs. Sadly, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Arshdeep Singh, and Jitesh Sharma couldn’t score.

Even though Mohammad Siraj remained not out, India couldn’t reach the target. South Africa’s Gerald Coetzee took three wickets, and Marco Jansen, Lizaad Williams, Tabraiz Shamsi, and Aiden Markaran got one wicket each, leading South Africa to victory.
