If rain interrupts the IND vs PAK match again, it will resume from the same point the next day, on September 11. Spectators have been advised to keep their match tickets for the subsequent day. Importantly, this reserve day provision is only for the India vs Pakistan match in the Super 4.
The ACC clarified in a statement, “A reserve day has been included for the Super 4 match between Pakistan and India in the Asia Cup 2023,
Furthermore, considering the heavy rain forecast in Sri Lanka’s capital, a reserve day has already been announced for the Asia Cup final on September 17. Continuous rainfall has caused flooding in several areas across Sri Lanka.
