The first Test between India and England is in Hyderabad from January 25. The second match will be played in Visakhapatnam from 2 February. Former Team India captain Virat Kohli will not play in both these matches.

In the information given by BCCI on social media, it has been said that Virat Kohli has decided not to play the first two Tests due to personal reasons. He has withdrawn his name. However, the reason has not been revealed yet.

Kohli did not even play the first T20 match against Afghanistan

Recently, when Virat Kohli played the T20 series against Afghanistan, he did not even play the first match. After this he was seen playing the second and third matches.

It was believed that January 11 was Kohli’s daughter Vamika’s birthday, hence he had sought exemption from that match. But now the information about why they are not playing the matches of this series will be available later.
