IND vs ENG Test Series: India has won the 5th and last match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy (Anderson Tendulkar Trophy 2025) against England by 6 runs. With this, India has leveled the series 2-2. As soon as it lost this match, the series was on the verge of slipping out of its hands.

But India made a great comeback in the last session of the fourth day and won the match on the 5th day as well. Now the series has ended in a 2-2 draw.

In this victory, the fast bowling of Mohammad Siraj (5/104) and (Prasidh Krishna) Prasidh Krishna (4/126) deprived England of victory and snatched the series from them and brought it to a draw. This is a great start to the career of Shubman Gill, who is captaining India in his first series as captain.

England's Harry Brook and Joe Root's centuries were wasted

Joe Root (105) and Harry Brook (111) had put England on the threshold of victory by scoring brilliant centuries for England, but after the dismissal of both of them, none of their batsmen could take the team to victory despite reaching the threshold of victory.

In the end, Gus Atkins (17) showed courage and tried to take the team to victory, but could not face the fast balls of Mohammad Siraj.

India all out for 224 runs in the first innings

Earlier in this match, England won the toss and sent India to bat first, then the Indian team was all out for just 224 runs. Karun Nair scored the highest 57 runs from India. But the Indian bowlers did not let England move much ahead based on their first innings and wrapped up their first innings at 247 runs.

The Indian team lagged behind them by just 23 runs here. In this innings, Ben Duckitt (64) and Harry Brook (53) scored half-centuries for England.

India scored 396 runs in the second innings, and Jaiswal hit a century

After trailing by 23 runs, India displayed strong batting in the second innings and scored 396 runs, in which Yashasvi Jaiswal (118) along with Akashdeep (66), Ravindra Jadeja (53) and Washington Sundar (53) hit brilliant half-centuries and set a strong target of 374 runs for England to win.

But Joe Root and Harry Brook's centuries from England tried to push India on the back foot. Meanwhile, as soon as these two batsmen were out, India found the way to victory.
