I For India: See How Bollywood Celebrities Are Raising Funds To Combat COVID-19

The world is fighting against a tough competitor coronavirus and we are all trying to contribute in our way. Bollywood celebrities are creating awareness and raising funds to fight against coronavirus from their homes. In a recent awareness and fundraising concert I For India, the biggest stars came up to help.

Priyanka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan and many more participated in the concert. Some Hollywood stars like Will Smith, Mike Jagger and Sophie Turner also contributed to fight the pandemic through Facebook.

The catchy phrase I For India was proposed by Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar. Akshay Kumar started off with the song ‘Tumse Ho Nahi Paega’ whose lyrics were written by Manoj Munatshir.

Aamir Khan with wife Kiran Rao sang songs ‘Aa Chalke Tujhe Main Leke Chalun’ and ‘Jeena Isika Naam Hai’ and said “But most importantly, to not leave hope,”

The Badshah of Bollywood SRK sung a song and twitter was into splits looking at the cuteness of father-son duo in it.

SRK captioned the post:

“Sab Sahi Ho Jaayega

Hrithik Roshan played the piano and sang this song.

Priyanka Chopra posted an IGTV video in which she narrated a poem written by Vijay Mourya.

The video was captioned:

Many other Bollywood celebs including Tiger Shroff, Farhan Akhtar, Alia Bhatt, Vidya Balan, Shabana Azmi, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Badshah and more also joined the concert.

The 4hour 20-minute long concert raised a fund worth 3 crores. All the fund raised during the concert will be used to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and will be handled by GiveIndia.
