Hyundai Venue S Plus Launched at Rs. 9.35 lakh Know its Features

Hyundai Venue S Plus: Hyundai India has launched a new S Plus variant of the Venue SUV. Positioned above the existing S trim, this variant is priced Rs 25,000 higher and is equipped with an electric sunroof.

Along with the electric sunroof, the Hyundai Venue S Plus borrows many features from the S variant and includes a height adjustable driver seat, reclining rear seats, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control and electrically adjustable ORVMs.

Apart from the sunroof, it also gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital instrument cluster, auto-headlights and rear AC vents. Its safety net includes six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC) and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Hyundai has also taken care of the basic features. Some of these are rear AC vents, roof rails, 6 airbags, TPMS, automatic headlights, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-start assist and more. The powertrain continues to make a maximum power of 82 bhp and a peak torque of 114 Nm.

Talking about the 1.2L Kappa powerplant, it is a 4-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that produces a maximum power output of 83 hp against a peak torque of 114 Nm. In the S+ trim, it will be offered with a manual gearbox only. In fact, the transmission option is limited to a 5-speed MT for the diesel version. However, the oil burner develops a maximum power output of 116 hp and a peak torque of 250 Nm.

Talking about the Hyundai Venue S Plus variant, it has a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which generates 83 PS of power and 113.8 Nm of peak torque. Its engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift

The second news is that Hyundai is preparing to launch the facelift avatar of the Alcazar SUV. The three-row SUV based on the Creta has been waiting to be updated for a long time. The automaker will launch the Alcazar facelift in the country next month. It is expected to retain its existing engine and transmission options, but will definitely come with more features and a new design.
