Rumors from a tipster on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo suggest that the Mate X3 foldable smartphone could hit the market before the Huawei P60 series phones. The P60 series, which consists of two variants – the Huawei P60 and the Huawei P60 Pro – are said to be released in March.

The tipster also mentioned that the upcoming Huawei Mate X3 might include second-generation satellite communication technology. This would allow users to send and receive short messages without needing to be connected to a network. The report from Gaming Deputy, which cited the tipster, stated that this feature could also support the transmission of voice messages, which would be an improvement compared to what the Huawei Mate 50 could do, as it could only send text messages without being able to receive any. The Mate X3 is likely to be the successor to the Huawei Mate X2.
