Gulshan Devaiah took to Twitter to express his opinion that NTR’s accent is not as bad as it has been made out to be and this is a calculated PR strategy. He implored people to let him try to spread his wings and fly, as it is beneficial for Indian cinema if he breaks through the global market of Hollywood. He concluded by saying that everyone can benefit from this.

In response to a journalist, he tweeted, “If NTR jr lived in the US, I’m confident his accent would remain unchanged, as it reflects his experience as a first-generation immigrant. It’s easy to criticize the accents of our relatives who have been living in the US for a long time, but that does not make us experts on accents.”

In response to a journalist, he tweeted, “I believe that if NTR jr resided in the US, his accent would not have changed, as it is how he would naturally speak as a first-generation immigrant. We all have relatives who have resided in the US for a long time, yet have not changed their accents, yet we believe that we know all about accents.” Regarding Jr NTR’s accent, a Reddit user commented, “When an American comes to India, they do not adopt an Indian accent to talk to us. Why should we put on an accent for them?” Another Reddit user quipped, “I cannot wait to hear the Oscar version.” A comment read, “’aMERIca’. Lol it sounds like a mix of a fake American and British accent.” A Twitter user said, “It’s a bit awkward because we are accustomed to his original accent. But yes, let him have his moment of fame.”

At the 80th Golden Globe Awards, RRR, a film by SS Rajamouli, achieved an impressive victory. The film’s song Naatu Naatu was awarded the Golden Globe trophy in the Best Original Song category. MM Keeravaani composed the tune, with the lyrics written by Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj. The track, featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR dancing exuberantly, was picturised on them.

After the victory, Jr NTR went to Instagram to congratulate Keeravaani on his well-earned #GoldenGlobes award. He mentioned that he has danced to a lot of tunes in his career but #NaatuNaatu will always remain close to his heart. #mmkeeravaani #rrrmovie is a pre-independence fictional tale that revolves around two real-life Indian revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR) in the 1920s.

Jr NTR will commence filming for his upcoming project, NTR30, with director Koratala Siva, who helmed the film Janatha Garage. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on April 5, 2024. In addition, he will also appear in NTR31, which will be directed by Prashanth Neel.
