In 2022, Google released a new design for the web version of its app store, Play Store. This was the first time that the design of the store had been changed in almost a decade, with the new look being rolled out for both mobile devices and desktops/laptops. Additionally, the update included some important filters and a new “Data Safety” section for users.

Google has acknowledged the existence of an issue that has been affecting web users of its Play Store app store for the past few weeks, where they were unable to view the app update changelogs. The tech giant has assured that the changelog feature will be restored in the near future.
Bug affecting Play Store’s web version
At the beginning of January, an issue was noted where the changelogs on the Google Play Store web client were being altered. Despite this, the Play Store app on Android was still displaying the changelogs correctly. 9to5Google also reported this problem.
