Gmail

Google is here with a new launch. It is about a new interface of Google that is specially developed for foldable phones like Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.

The new update shows a 2-pane layout. This permits users to have a look at the inbox on the left half of the phone and the email stays on the right itself.

The target of this interface is to make multitasking easier and to save the time of users as most of the time is wasted on switching the panels. The search bar will be right up to the index.

The compose button will be on the left pane. However, the button bar will be visible on both screens.

Why Just Foldable Phones?

The new interface is not just restricted to Gmail only. It is also available for Meet, the tech company’s meeting platform as well as Chat. Users can adjust window sizes at their convenience and absolutely hassle-free.

The tech company has also introduced a new tablet-first operating system, Android 12L, that is particularly made for big-screen devices. It shows a vertically split notification bar that offers users many pieces of information in one look.

It also adds a taskbar that makes it swifter to switch between tasks and launch apps.
