Good News! Wait Of Covid-19 Vaccine For Indians Is Over, Here's The Expected Arrival Date

This year everyone has been waiting for one thing that is the Covid-19 Vaccine. Hope that the wait is going to be over but no so soon, however, there is a ray of hope that India is going to get the vaccine in the upcoming year.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan, The Union Health Minister, has expressed the possibility of vaccine arrival in an interview with India Today and Aaj Tak. He said that the vaccine will be available in the country by September 2021 but how effective would that vaccine be, that’s another question.

He further said, “Vaccine efficacy and safety are the two most important agenda for government.” Another question is who will get the vaccination first.

The government is preparing a list of all the people who fill get the vaccination first. Most of them would be health workers, frontline warriors, and senior citizens aged above 65 as the risk of getting infected is high among these peoples.

The second list of beneficiary people would include comorbidity patients and people age above 50.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan talked about the vaccination road map and necessary actions to be taken in the interview.

PM Modi will keep an eye over the situation and for this Tuesday there would be a meeting with all the representatives of UT and States. The meeting could be a detailed discussion about the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccine and reviewing the current situation as well.

The Supreme Court has also asked all the states to send a report on the coronavirus updates and steps being taken to curb the spread in the respective territory.

The condition of three states including the National Capital is getting worse each day. Gujarat and Maharashtra are also on this list. But, Delhi is facing another problem of manpower shortage. To this, Delhi CM asked all dentists and even MBBS students to provide their necessary assistance in the hospitals.

Seeing the condition of Delhi, Harsh Vardhan disclosed the strategy of the central government. The emphasis would be more on testing and tracking.

He further said, “Tests should be done at super spreader places. Pollution is also a big problem in Delhi. I had already warned people. The problem has reduced in many states. We are in touch with all governments.”

The Union Health Minister also accepted the fact that Delhi is suffering more due to the negligence of people. Therefore, he asked people to be responsible for their own health and help the government curb the spread.
