According to the scriptures, on the day of Ganesh chaturthi 2023 festival, devotees should take bath, meditate in the morning and clean the place of worship thoroughly. After this, worship Lord Ganesha duly. During the auspicious time, spread the new cloth on a clean platform in the north-east corner and install the idol of Lord Ganesha and worship it daily in the morning and evening. Ganesh chaturthi 2023: Keeping in mind the auspicious time on Ganesh Chaturthi date, first of all keep the idol of Lord Ganesha in the north, east or north-east part of your house. Take the worship material and sit on a pure seat. Place the Kalash in the east direction of the idol of Lord Ganesha and light a lamp in the south-east. Chant the mantra Om Pundarikakshay Namah while sprinkling water on yourself.
Salute Lord Ganesha and do rinse three times and apply Tilak on the forehead. After the asana, bathe Lord Ganesha with Panchamrit. Offer them clothes, sacred thread, sandalwood, Akshat, incense, lamp, naivedya and fruits. Perform Aarti of Lord Ganesha and ask for blessings for fulfillment of wishes.
