Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh Trailer is Out, Check Review

After a ten-year absence, filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi made his comeback with a new quality content film Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh. The makers of the movie dropped an official trailer of the film today, which will definitely blow your mind with its concept.

Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh represents an alternate version of history, in which Mahatma Gandhi survives the assassination attempt by Nathuram Godse. The movie is all about the drama that occurred after that.

Talking of cast members, the film features Deepak Antani as Mahatma Gandhi and Chinmay Mandlekar as Nathuram Godse.

Apart from them, Rajkumar Santoshi’s daughter Tanisha Santoshi and Anuj Saini are all set to make their Bollywood debut. The film will release on 26th January 2023.

The trailer of Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh is set during a tumultuous period in India’s history after the 1947 partition. There was a riot going on between Hindus and Muslims at that time.

Mahatma Gandhi believes that partition is the only way to establish peace between two communities. On the other hand, Nathuram Godse thinks that the only way to stop Gandhi is through violence and thus, he prepares by arming himself with a gun.

The twist comes up in the story when Gandhi survives the assassination attempt of Godse and he wants to meet him. Check out the trailer here:
