The trailer of Anubhav Sinha and Hansal Mehta's movie, Faraaz, based on the real-life terrorist attack in Dhaka, has been released. It illustrates the assault on Holy Artisan Cafe in Dhaka and the efforts made to rescue the victims.

In the trailer, Zahan Kapoor is seen standing up to the terrorists, saying, “I want my Islam back from people like you”. Aditya Rawal will play the villain in the movie.

Zahan is the grandson of the famous late actor Shashi Kapoor and the cousin of Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.
Other cast members in Faraaz includes Juhi Babbar, Aamir Ali, Sachin Lalwani, Palak Lalwani, and Reshham Sahaani. The movie is scheduled to be released in theatres on February 3, 2023.

He also mentioned that Faraaz is designed as a suspenseful thriller that spans across one night, but also sheds light on the bravery and kindness required to confront violence.
Ultimately, Hansal suggested that the only way to overcome bigotry and its consequences is to stand up to it.
Anubhav declared that Faraaz is not an ordinary movie based on genuine occurrences.
