Shark Tank India’s newest season kicked off this month and it is a completely different experience. The ‘sharks’, who were unfamiliar to the public until last year, have now become famous. As the stories of several Indian businesses have been told, the ‘sharks’ have also gained many admirers.

Vineeta Singh, the co-founder of Sugar cosmetics, was determined to return for the second season of Shark Tank India after the first season had wrapped up. She shared with indianexpress.com that the show has something to offer to not only entrepreneurs, but also the ‘sharks’. Since the launch of the latest season of Shark Tank India at the beginning of this month, the ‘sharks’ have gained immense popularity in popular culture.

Vineeta expressed that the upcoming season would be an extraordinary one, describing it as “bigger, grander, more dramatic, more emotional and more hilarious”. She also added that she believes it contains all the necessary components to make it a hit. In addition, Vineeta said she had a great time while shooting for season 2 and is hopeful that the viewers will love it too.

Vineeta mentioned that the second season of Shark Tank India would be bigger, grander, more dramatic, emotional and humorous, giving it all the necessary elements to be a major success. She further noted that she had even more fun shooting the second season, and is hopeful the viewers will enjoy it just as much. Expressing her surprise at the immense love and respect their show and the sharks had received, she claimed it was ‘unprecedented’. She was also delighted to see that entrepreneurship had become a part of mainstream conversations, and that India was finally appreciating the true value of businesses.>

Vineeta Singh said it was tough to select just one favourite fan moment, but she recalled a special instance. She reported, “I was with my children in the park when an eight-year-old girl spotted me from her apartment complex. She came over to talk about her love for the show and said that she wanted to become an entrepreneur when she gets older. This made me realise how much of an impact the show had and that it was more than just the businesses and investments that were involved. This is what will be most important in the long run.”

The celebrity entrepreneur expressed that her children, ages four and eight, find it amazing that people want to take pictures with her and ask why that is. She went on to say that she loves watching the show with them and it’s been a great learning experience. Her sons are already familiar with the concepts of Sugar, revenue, and profits, as well as the other sharks on the show. She added that it’s a really special feeling to see.>

Vineeta Singh further talked about how she and her business partner Kaushik Mukherjee, who is also her personal partner, had to find a way to work together. Initially, they faced a few challenges, but they eventually managed to build a great team with complementary skills. Though they used to struggle to draw the boundary between their personal and professional life, they eventually learned to be comfortable with discussions about their family finances at work. According to Singh, entrepreneurship is not about balance, but finding harmony.

Vineeta expressed her gratitude to her husband for being her biggest cheerleader and motivating her to go ahead with the Shark Tank India experience. She said, “He always gives me honest feedback and was the one who encouraged me to take the risk. I am so thankful for his confidence in me.”

After Vineeta Singh, the Sharks on Shark Tank India 2 are Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal and Amit Jain.
