Bhonsle is a fantastic movie that deals with real-life problems of North Indian Migrants in Mumbai and conflicts between them and locals of the city, Manoj Bajpayee as a lead actor played the role of a retired Police officer who supports the north Indian girl and her brother and they all are pestered by other local people of the city.

Manoj Bajpayee further said that it is feeling like the mission has finally accomplished as Bhonsle movie is an indispensable part of my life, it has to go through lots of struggles and tribulations as it took four years to reach the screen, to arrange the finances, there was no one to support us only we few people looked after it, Sandiip , Piyush was the main people and other producers invested little money into it. But hard work finally paid off and I am really contented with it.

Manoj Bajpayee is undeniably a prudent actor who reached the peak of his career without the support of any godfather. He hails from Belwa, a small village in Bihar, and belonged to a lower-middle-class family, his father was a farmer. He was rejected in the National School of Drama three-times and because of that he even wanted to commit suicide, but life has some greater plans for him and finally, he walked a long way in Bollywood. He did his debut with a one-minute role in the movie Drohkaal in 1994 but the turning point of his career was the movie “Satya”, which brought him to Limelight. Manoj Bajpayee was also praised with another glorified Honour Padma Shri Award for his contribution towards Indian cinema by President Ram Nath Kovind in 2019.

He even said, previously I was disappointed many times as most of my competent movies didn’t get the recognition, they were somewhat left out, but Bhonsle getting the award has compensated for it, this journey has finally resulted in accomplishment and all my disappointments are finished now,I am really happy for it and acknowledge it.
