Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi, has announced the release of their Note 12 series in India. They are now getting ready to launch the K60 series phones in the country too. At the launch event for the Redmi Note 12 5G series, the company suggested that the upcoming model will cost more than ₹30,000.

The Redmi K60 series made its debut in China in December 2020 and is composed of three models – Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro and Redmi K60E. Xiaomi has stated that the prices of all three phones in the series will be higher than ₹30,000. However, no launch date has been revealed yet.

Redmi K60 series specifications
The Redmi K60 series consists of three phones: Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60E. The K60 has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1440×3200 pixels and HDR10+ support. It offers a peak brightness of 1400 nits.

This smartphone utilizes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor and has a triple-camera system on the rear. It includes a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor, which can record 8K video footage at 24fps.

The Redmi K60 Series Pro features the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and its display is the same as the standard Redmi K60’s. For the Redmi K60E, it has a 6.67-inch 2K Samsung display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and it is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. This model has a 5,500mAh battery with 67 watt charging, while the Pro model has a 5,000mAh battery and 30watt wireless charging.
