The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) introduced a 244 km stretch of Delhi-Mumbai Turnpike between Jhabua of Madhya Pradesh to Modak of Rajashtan, close to Jhalawar, on Wednesday i.e September 20, 2023.

- The new stretch of the expressway is going through Madhya Pradesh covering a few locale in the western district.
- This new street network for the state going through Jhabua, Mandsaur, and Ratlam locale in Madhya Pradesh, associating significant urban communities.
- Including Garoth, Jaora, Ratlam, and Thandla will open an immediate channel to New Delhi, the public capital, and, Mumbai, the monetary capital of the country, the Hours of India revealed.
Madhya Pradesh Part Is Divided In 9 Parts

The Madhya Pradesh part of the expressway has been partitioned into nine bundles. This eight-path stretch inside the state begins from Neemthur town at the Rajasthan line and finishes at Timarwani town, filling in as the doorway to Gujarat.The 246-km Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot (Rajasthan) stretch was the first section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to be opened to the public on 12 February 2023.

The construction of the 1,386 km Delhi-Mumbai Expressway— proposed to be the longest expressway in India— is going on in full swing. The foundation stone of the road corridor was laid in March 2019 and is supposed to be completed by December 2024. Once completed, this expressway will pass through six states, including Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, MP, Gujarat and Maharashtra;
