While we look forward to being dolled up in our winter finery, we cannot ignore that this winter season has an ugly side too. The winter ugliness rears its head in the form of diseases and health ailments!

An unexpected decrease in temperature carries with it medical problems, for example, joint pain heart sicknesses. However, respiratory infections and skin-related illnesses should be avoided during the winter.

How To Prevent Common Winter Ailments

1. Common Cold

We frequently dismiss the common cold as a seasonal occurrence because it is far too prevalent. A sore throat, congestion in the chest, headache, sneezing, and runny nose are all signs of a common cold. The common cold affects both adults and children, and there is no need for serious medical treatment. It is expected to pass in a few days.

3. Strep Throat

A sore throat is very unpleasant and inconvenient. However, strep throat is far worse! A severe form of strep throat is accompanied by a fever and sore throat caused by an infection. It is often seen in children and is brought on by a bacterial infection. Side effects of strep throat incorporate trouble and torment while gulping food or water, migraine, enlarged lymph hubs, fever and so forth.

4. Pneumonia

Pneumonia is another lung infection which common in the winter season. A disease caused by bacteria can be mild or severe ans if it is mild, it can be treated at home but if it gets severe, hospitalization is possible too.
