Chris Morris Goes To Rajasthan Royal At Shocking Price
The auction is raising curiosity among players and their fans as we are seeing some of the biggest changes this time. Chris Morris who had set his base price to Rs 75 lakh is sold at the highest price i.e. Rs 16.25 crore.

Chris Broke Yuvi’s Record Of Being 2nd Most Expensive Player
The price isn’t surprising at which Rajasthan Royals bought him but comparing it with the Yuvraj’s price in 2015, it’s literally very high. With this, he has become the most expensive player in the IPL history breaking Yuvraj Singh’s record.
Yuvraj was sold to Delhi Daredevils at the price of Rs 16 crore in 2015. Chris is an all-rounder player from South Africa. Three franchises Kings XI Punjab, RR, and RCB were bidding on Chris but RR managed to defeat the other two.
All-Rounder Glenn Maxwell Is 3rd Most Expensive
Australian player Glenn Maxwell became the third expensive player so far. Both Royal Challenger Bangalore and CSK were battling to get Glenn on their team. RCB won the bidding battle and bought him for Rs 14.25 crore. Highest for Glenn as it kept the base price of Rs 2 crore.

The highest was Virat Kohli as Royal Challengers Bangalore bought him for 17 crores in 2016. Other’s in the list are MS Dhoni at 15 crores price, Rohit and Ben Stokes were also in the list of most expensive IPL players.
Total of 164 Indian cricketers were shortlisted for auctions, few are under the retained list whereas 8 players are released. Piyush Chawla goes to MI at the price of Rs 2.40 crore. Many are in the queue and the auction is turning into an interesting bidding battle as many players are now getting a place in new teams.
