China Setting Up Supersonic Spy Drone Unit, US Military Leaks Show

The U.S. military assessment which got eventually leaked, reveals that the Chinese military may shortly place a high-altitude spy drone that travels a minimum of three times the speed of sound, the Washington Post reveals on Tuesday. 

The newspaper quoted confidential data from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

The document contains satellite imagery of August 9 that represents two WZ-8 rockets-moving survey drones at an air base in eastern China, almost 350 miles inland from Shanghai. 

Drones are a progressive surveillance system that can help China cumulate real-time mapping data to tell strategy or perform missile strikes in a future war.

The Washington Post got the judgment of the WZ-8 program from an assortment of images of confidential files posted on Discord, a group chat service famous among gamers, reportedly by a member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard

The Defense Department refused to make any comment about the same. The Ministry of China of National Defense did not reply to a faxed request for comment. 

Other documents in the collection note a number of revelations regarding Chinese spying and military improvement, adding intelligence that disclosed the presence of extra Chinese spy balloons and an assessment that Taiwan is not prepared enough.

On Thursday, the FBI caught Jack Douglas Teixeira, a 21-year-old member of the United States Air National Guard, on the matter of leaks online of secret documents that ashamed Washington with subordinates over the world. 

The leaks initially became broadly known at the start of this month, keeping Washington on edge regarding the damage they may have resulted. 

The happening ashamed the United States by disclosing its spying on associates and claimed Ukrainian military susceptibilities.

CIA Director William J. Burns has revealed that Chinese leader Xi Jinping wishes the PLA to be able of capturing Taiwan by 2027, however, he added that this does not mean Xi will order an attack at that time.
