The U.S. military assessment which got eventually leaked, reveals that the Chinese military may shortly place a high-altitude spy drone that travels a minimum of three times the speed of sound, the Washington Post reveals on Tuesday.
The newspaper quoted confidential data from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
The document contains satellite imagery of August 9 that represents two WZ-8 rockets-moving survey drones at an air base in eastern China, almost 350 miles inland from Shanghai.
Drones are a progressive surveillance system that can help China cumulate real-time mapping data to tell strategy or perform missile strikes in a future war.

The Washington Post got the judgment of the WZ-8 program from an assortment of images of confidential files posted on Discord, a group chat service famous among gamers, reportedly by a member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard.
