Champions Trophy 2025: The Champions Trophy is starting from February 19 under the hosting of Pakistan. After 29 years, a prestigious ICC tournament is being organized in Pakistan. The first match of the championship is to be played between New Zealand and Pakistan. Pakistan and New Zealand are in Group A along with India and Bangladesh. In such a situation, the semi-finalists of the Champions Trophy will be selected only after one match each between these three teams. Defeat in any one match will make the team’s further journey difficult. In such a situation, a former Pakistani batsman has made a strange prediction about the Pakistani team for the match to be held tomorrow i.e. on February 19.

PAK vs NZ Venue and pitch analysis
During the tri-series at the National Stadium in Karachi, two different types of pitches were used. One was batsman-friendly, as seen with Pakistan successfully chasing a target of 353 against South Africa. The other, which was used for the final, proved to be more challenging, with Pakistan bowled out for 242 while New Zealand lost five wickets and needed 45 overs to chase down the target.
Based on the current pattern, the pitch is likely to aid the bowlers, offering some grip and bounce, which could make stroke-making more difficult.
PAK vs NZ Toss prediction
At this venue, batting second is often the key to success. Out of the 77 ODIs played here, the teams chasing have won 41 times. Fielding first could be crucial and both captains will be aware of this while making their decision.
