Today, February 4, is the first day of the JEE Mains 2026 provisional key objection window. The deadline for objections is February 6, 2026.
The opportunity for objections will be open for two to three days. Candidates may contest the provisional answer key during this time by paying ₹200 online, which is a non-refundable processing fee for each question contested.
Only paid challenges submitted via the main challenge link during the allotted time frame will be taken into account.
After reviewing each task, the subject matter experts will present and announce the final solution key.
Difference In D
Many students confuse the two documents, but they serve different purposes:
JEE Main Response Sheet 2026: Shows answers marked by the candidate.
JEE Main Answer Sheet 2026 (answer key): Shows correct answers released by NTA.
Using both together helps candidates calculate their expected score accurately.
