Recently, Northern Railway criticised Sonu Sood for sitting on the footboard of a train while travelling, which was seen in a video that went viral on social media. In response to the video, the Railway zone posted a tweet asking the actor not to do it again and to enjoy a safe journey. Sonu Sood, known for his philanthropic work during the Covid-19 pandemic, apologised and thanked the Northern Railway for their efforts to improve the railway system in India.

In his tweet, the actor expressed regret for not intervening and asked how those in poverty might feel watching the incident. He also thanked the Railway for their response and work in improving the railway system. Nevertheless, some online users commented that the Railway’s response wouldn’t have been so forgiving if it had been a regular person.
Sonu is a renowned Indian actor, producer, and philanthropist who is mostly involved in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada movies. He was cast as Chandrabardai in the upcoming Akshay Kumar starrer historical drama Samrat Prithviraj (2022).
