After Telangana Now Maharashtra Govt Announces Salary Cut For Govt Officials And Public Representatives

Looking at the current situation of India, Coronavirus has shaken the economic condition of the country. The medical urgency due to the Coronavirus outbreak has created a need for the fund to treat and feed people.

Many celebrities, cricketers and citizens have donated to PM Cares fund. After Telangana announces a salary cut in the govt officials now Maharashtra has also announced a 60% cut.

IAS, IFS and IPS are few govt officials that will face a 60% salary cut in the month of March. Not only private companies are cutting salaries to combat the coronavirus outbreak by the govt has also done the same.

Deputy chief minister and finance minister Ajit Pawar announced that MLA’s and MNC’s will see a salary cut of 60% in their salaries. Even Chief Minister of Maharashtra will also undergo the salary cut of the same.

Grade A officers will see a 50% salary cut and GRADE C will go up to 25% power cut. However, GRADE D employees will not see any salary cut.

Maharashtra is the second state to announce the salary cut of their employees. Maharashtra is also the state where COVID-19 cases are rising rapidly, the count has gone up to 225. In Telangana, the confirmed COVID-19 cases are 71 till now.
