New Mexico: Famous Hollywood Actor and producer Alec Baldwin who is in Sante Fe for the upcoming movie Rust is under trouble. He accidentally killed a cinematographer named Halyna Hutchins with his prop arm while filming for a scene. His old tweet from 2017 where he said ” I wonder how it feels to kill wrongfully someone” goes viral after it.

What’s more surprising is that the police did not take him in custody either.

Movie director Joel Souza was also injured during the accident after which the two were immediately taken to the hospital via helicopter. Halyna, 42, died whereas Souza was kept in emergency care.
Halyna had posted the scenes from the shoot just before the incident on her Instagram page. She posted a video riding a horse sharing her experiences as a cinematographer.

Police Filed No Charges Against Actor Alec Baldwin
Although investigation about the whole incident is under process, officials have filed no criminal charges against Hollywood Actor Alec Baldwin. The incident has risen questioning over the use of prop arms and weapons on the sets.
Usually, only blank firearms and a safe distance of 20 feet are maintained during such scenes in the movie and TV industry. This is for safety purposes so such incidents are rare to happen. Moreover, weapons are also checked each time and standard protocols are followed.
Considering these facts, Hollywood weapons expert Larry Zanoff suspects protocols were not followed properly.

On the other hand, Alec does not have a good reputation as an actor among photographers. This is not the first time when the 68-years old Alec is in news. He is known for his eccentric behavior with people on sets especially photographers.
A photographer named Alan alleged that the actor broke his nose and sprayed shaving cream on his car’s windows. He denied the claims although. Alec was also charged with assault and harassment in 2018.
