Mumbai Police have enrolled a FIR against a unidentified individual regarding a deepfake video of Bollywood hotshot Aamir Khan in which he is purportedly seen advancing an ideological group, an authority said.

The deepfake video shows the entertainer purportedly in a scene from 10 years old episode of his TV program, Satyamev Jayate. A representative for Aamir Khan on Tuesday said while the entertainer in the past raised discretionary mindfulness through Political race Commission crusades, he never advanced any ideological group.

FIR Registered Against Unnamed Person   

The FIR was documented on Wednesday at the Khar police headquarters following a protest by Aamir Khan’s office under pertinent Indian Reformatory Code segments, including 419 (pantomime), 420 (cheating) and arrangements of the Data Innovation Act, the authority said.
