Former SP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh passes away at 64 in Singapore today. He was admitted to the hospital for a long town.
Amar Singh was born on January 27, 1956, in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. He was an alumnus of the of St. Xavier’s College and University College of Law, Kolkata from where he earned his LLB.
Amar Singh was unwell and battled for his life. Amar Singh, a sitting Rajya Sabha MP, had been facing health-related issues for over a decade and had undergone a kidney transplant.

Earlier today, Amar Singh extended Eid greetings to his followers on Twitter and also paid tributes to freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak on his death anniversary.
