Bollywood Queen, Kangana Ranaut, who recently gave a hit film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’, is all set to portray the role of former Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa in a biopic.
Taran Adarsh, Indian film critic and trade analyst made the announcement on his Twitter account and wrote: “The biopic would be made in two languages titled ‘Thalaivi’ in Tamil and ‘Jaya’ in Hindi.”

The movie will be directed by AL Vijay, who is well-known for directing movies like Madrasapattinam and Deiva Thirumagal.
The script of the film is written by KV Vijayendra Prasad of Baahubali and Manikarnika fame and Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh are the producers of the film.
