While the movie trailer only gave the audience a little glance of Ranveer Singh’s rapping skills, however, the song represents his rapping heart out.

Alia Bhatt took to Twitter to reveal the song, writing, #ApnaTimeAyega out now”.

Ranveer has given his voice for the rapping track and has done a brilliant job representing his splendid rapping skills in the dong. The song Titled ‘Apn time Ayega’ can be correctly described as the new rap Anthem for all those rappers who dream of making it big in their lives.

The 2 minutes and 10-second song gives a glance into the world of ‘Gully Boy’. Just like Asli Hip Hop, the song has its own beauty, charm and traces the journey of the actor from slums to Hip Hop.

The song lyrics showcase the realities of gully boy life and how one day time will change for an underdog. With its catchy tune, Ranveer’s voice and terrific lyrics, the track will immediately make its way to your playlist!

The song is composed by Dub Sharma and DIVINE. The track’s lyrics are written by DIVINE and Ankur Tewari.

Ranveer Singh with Underground Rappers Mumbai

‘Gully Boy’ is inspired by the lives of Mumbai slum area street rappers Naved Shaikh aka Naezy and Vivian Fernandes aka Divine. The film is directed by popular Zoya Akhtar. This is Ranveer’s second collaboration with Zoya.

The film is all set to hit theatres on Valentine’s Day, February 14. Apart from this,Alia and Ranveer will also be seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial ‘Takht’. The period drama also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kausha, Janhvi Kapoor,  and Bhumi Pednekar.
