They were also capable of gathering a few of this information but had a boring design, graphics, and heavier. Ultimately, it became a major technology failure.

2. Thump Sunglasses

Okay! We all admit that Google Sunglasses are the biggest tech failures of all time but one more company tried it before Google. It was the Californian tech company Oakley that invented thump sunglasses in 2007.

Thump had the coolest features of that time such as the user could listen to songs, store audio data up to 256 MB. But the whopping cost of $495 made it a dream gadget of many.

3. Flying Saucer Camera

Before flying cars, flying cameras were the reality (No! we aren’t talking about drones).

Flying Saucer Cameras were designed to take photos of their surroundings. But their main purpose was to capture the strange lights from the sky. It was assumed that UFOs could be sending those signals to earth.

Facebook gets all the credit to connect us with the world via the internet but it was MySpace that did it first. It had a plain user interface, simple-looking online profiles, and similar features like image sharing, add friends, etc.

It was the biggest hit, listed as one of the best websites of 2006, and popularly known as the king of social media during the 1990s. Gradually, MySpace ended as a technology failure as it failed to match the future demands and was later sold for $580 million by NewsCorp.
