Ahead of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra's launch, several of its features have been leaked. Along with these leaks, its certification has also surfaced. These leaks reveal key details about the phone's camera setup, launch timeline, and new imaging technology. Model numbers 25128PNA1C and 2512BPNDAC have been spotted in China, indicating a Chinese launch in December 2025. Two variants may also be available.

Regarding camera features, leaked reports suggest that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra may feature a triple or quad rear camera setup. The triple camera model will feature a 200-megapixel telephoto sensor with a continuous optical zoom system.
The high-end model may feature a quad camera setup with three 50-megapixel sensors and one 200-megapixel sensor. It will also include new periscope optical technology, which is expected to significantly improve photo and video quality.
The partnership with Leica is one of the phone's biggest highlights. The company may also introduce a modular magnetic optical system, as seen in a prototype showcased at MWC 2025.
This system allows for the attachment of an external camera module with a 100-megapixel Micro Four Thirds sensor and a 35mm lens via magnets. This is expected to provide the phone with a professional-level camera experience.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra Expected Launch in December

Regarding the launch, leaked reports suggest that the phone will launch in China in December 2025, with a global launch expected in 2026. Two global model numbers, 2512BPNDAG and 25128PNA1G, have also surfaced. It is expected to feature satellite connectivity and a 50-megapixel front camera. However, the phone's actual features and pricing will only be known after launch.
