World Cup Updates: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will release the last lot of tickets tonight for the semi-finals and final of the World Cup. The last league match of the World Cup will be played between India and Netherlands on November 12 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. After that, the knockout will start. The first semi-final will be played on 15 November in Mumbai and the second semi-final will be played on 16 November in Kolkata. The final will be played on 19 November in Ahmedabad.

This will be the last chance for fans to buy tickets for the semi-finals and final matches, as BCCI is releasing the last lot of tickets.

India currently occupies the first position in the points table. In the semi-finals, the first-placed team has to face the fourth-placed team. There is a race between Pakistan, New Zealand, and Afghanistan for the fourth place. The first semi-final is to be held in Mumbai. If Pakistan does not reach the semi-finals, India will face the fourth-placed team on November 15 in Mumbai(World Cup Updates). If Pakistan remains at fourth place, then the semi-final between India and Pakistan will be played in Kolkata on 16th November. Whereas Australia and South Africa will clash in Mumbai on 15 November.

South Africa and Australia are certain to clash in the semi-finals. South Africa(World Cup Updates) is currently at second and third position in the points table. The second semi-final is scheduled to be held between South Africa and Australia. However, both these teams still have to play one more match. The match results of these two teams will not have any impact on their semi-finals. The win or loss of these two will only make a difference in their places, but in the semi-finals, the South African team will face Australia.

Indian team practiced in Bengaluru on Wednesday

Team India has to face the Netherlands in the last league match at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday. On Wednesday, Indian players participated in the optional training session. During this practice session, first Indian batsmen Shreyas Iyer, Shubman Gill, and Rohit Sharma practiced batting. After this, Team India’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was also seen practicing batting in the nets.

Pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Shardul Thakur bowled spin for a while, pacer Mohammed Siraj played a long session with the bat, while Shreyas Iyer bowled to Shardul.

Apart from Jadeja, Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah also came to bat in the nets. He was seen playing against spin bowlers and fast bowlers. Due to the optional training session, Virat Kohli(World Cup Updates), Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, R Ashwin, and Suryakumar Yadav decided to take a break.
