Why do Indians Choose White color Cars?

It is quite interesting to know that despite offering various palettes of paint colors in the automobile industry, why do Indians stick to just white? I am sure you also might be wondering about this and finding the question of the same.

You must have read in your school that black color absorbs more heat as compared to white. And this same theory works when we talk about cars. A darker shade of cars tends to absorb more heat as compared to white ones leading to a negative toll on cars.

The reasons I have mentioned above lead Indians to buy white color for their cars. And it is also the reason why the resale value of a car is higher than others.
