Maharashtra Foot Over Bridge collapsed and a part of it falls on a railway track

Shivaji Sutar, Central Railways CPRO said “Slab of Foot over bridge fell at around 17:10 hrs”

The incident took place in Chandrapur which is approximately 150kms from Nagpur

People fell from a height of 20 Feet that caused fatal injuries

Video shared by ANI shows a hollow gap on the floor of the foot over bridge (FOB)

13 people were reported as a victim of the incident.

A 48- year old woman died in this incident, and 12 others injured

Injured people were promptly shifted to Civil Hospital

Railway announced ex gratia of INR 1,00,000 to fatally injured people and INR 50,000 to those with light injuries
