Anushka Sharma celebrated her daughter Vamika Kohli's second birthday on January 11, along with husband, cricketer Virat Kohli. The actor shared an adorable mother-daughter photo on her social media page along with a heartwarming caption. Here's Anushka's post.

Vamika Kohli, the daughter of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, turned two on January 11, and to commemorate the special day, Anushka Sharma posted a new photo of the mother-daughter duo. In the heartwarming candid, Vamika can be seen kissing her mother's face as Anushka laughs in delight. Although their faces were not visible, the picture was enough to make the fans' hearts melt.

Anushka Sharma shared a birthday post for Vamika Kohli on Instagram, writing in the caption, "Two years ago my heart grew wide open." Her brother, producer Karnesh S Sharma, reacted to their photo with a series of evil eye amulet and red heart emojis in the comments section. Fans also expressed their love for Vamika, with one writing, "Happy birthday princess Vamika" and another saying, "Cutieeee..."

In 2017, Anushka and Virat tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy after being together for a number of years. The couple celebrated the arrival of their daughter in 2021, with Virat announcing the news on Instagram, expressing his delight at starting this new chapter in their lives and expressing his gratitude for the well-wishes they had received.

A few weeks after, Anushka and Virat made public their daughter's name and the significance it held. Alongside a photo of themselves with little Vamika cradled between them surrounded by pink and white balloons, the couple shared a heartfelt caption on Instagram. They said, "Living together with love, presence and gratitude has been our way of life, but Vamika has somehow taken it to a whole new level. Minutes can pass by with a flurry of emotions - from tears to laughter, from worry to bliss - yet our hearts remain so full."

Anushka and Virat recently welcomed the new year with Vamika in Dubai, and posted a lot of pictures from their getaway. Anushka will be starring in Chakda Xpress, her first project after the birth of Vamika in 2021. This movie is based on cricketer Jhulan Goswami's life and has been filmed in Kolkata and Britain.
