Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu Left Sanju and Dangal Behind, Check Box Office Collection Here

Despite having tough competition with Ajit Kumar’s Thunivu, Thalapathy Vijay’s action family drama Varisu is collecting a huge amount at the box office.

Varisu was released on the holy occasion of Pongal, on 11th January 2023. The film is directed is Vamshi Paidipally. Apart from Thalapathy, Rashmika Mandana is also grabbing the audience's attention.

Talking of the story, Varisu revolves around a travel enthusiast, Vijay Rajendra who is very happy with his life. Unfortunately, everything changes for him after the death of his foster father.

As the movie completed its first week at the box office, now it’s time to compare it with other blockbuster movies.

Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu Box Office Collection in First Week

Thalapathy Vijay always proves his stardom with every upcoming movie and with Varisu, he crossed all his limits. Despite facing a huge loss because of Ajit Kumar Thunivu, Varisu crossed the 200 Crores mark in its first week.

Till now, the Thalapathy starrer earned Rs 67 Crores in only its original language Tamil. Apart from this, the film collected Rs 140.89 Crores in various languages across India.

By adding both figures, Varisu’s total box office collection is Rs 207.89 Crores in the first week. With achieving this milestone, Vijay’s film beats blockbuster movies like Tiger Zinda Hai, Sanju, Dangal, etc.
