Leopeva64, a Reddit user, has reported that Google Chrome is developing a toggle in the extensions menu that will make blocking malicious extensions easier. This toggle would enable users to quickly block all extensions on a website with a single tap, as opposed to manually disabling each one, which is a time-consuming task.

Even though the feature is visible in Chrome Canary, it doesn't function properly yet, as it only turns on and off without showing any installed extensions. Additionally, in Microsoft Edge, after the extensions are paused, the site automatically reloads. Google hasn't officially announced this feature yet.

Google Chrome is reportedly developing a feature that would alert users of potentially unsafe HTTP downloads and block them to provide a secure browsing experience.

As of yet, the tech giant has not given an official statement on the matter, but once released, the feature will prompt a warning for users to use a secure HTTPS connection and prevent any downloads from an HTTP website.
