TVS Orbiter Electric Scooter: TVS Motor Company today officially launched the new electric scooter TVS Orbiter, expanding its electric two-wheeler portfolio in the domestic market. Regarding this new electric scooter, the company claims that it has many new and advanced features, which are not available in other models in the segment. As already predicted, the company has kept this scooter affordable compared to iQube. The starting price of this new electric scooter has been fixed at just Rs 99,900 (ex-showroom).

How is the new TVS Orbiter Electric Scooter

First of all, talking about the look and design, this scooter is quite different from other models available in the market. The company has given this scooter a boxy and futuristic design. TVS says that special work has been done on the aerodynamics of the scooter, which helps it to give 10% extra range. TVS Orbiter has a connected mobile app, front LED headlamp with visor and a colored LCD instrument cluster with incoming call display.

The company has provided an 845 mm long seat in TVS Orbiter, which provides a comfortable ride for both the rider and the pillion on the flatform seat. While the 290 mm straight footboard provides ample legroom to the driver. The company has provided a wide and straight handlebar in the scooter, which helps in keeping the riding posture straight. This electric scooter also has an under-seat storage of 34 liters, which is enough to keep two helmets.

Its battery is IP67 rated, which keeps it completely safe from dust, sunlight or water. It has 14-inch wheels which help the scooter to run easily even on bad roads.

The company says that this electric scooter has features like time fence, live location tracking, navigate-to-vehicle, crash and fall alert, emergency notification, geofencing, anti-theft and towing alert. Apart from this, it is the first electric scooter in the segment to have cruise control.

It has a feature that, if your scooter is parked in the parking lot and suddenly falls due to some reason. So in this situation, an immediate alert will come on your smartphone. The company has launched the TVS Orbiter with a total of 6 color options. Which includes Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Gray, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium and Martian Copper.
